FEEL THE GROOVE - BUILD THE BOND
RHYTHM POWERED TEAM BUILDING AT ITS BEST
We were commissioned as part of the Women’s Rugby World Cup 2025 match day programme, we performed at every fixture - welcoming the players to the stadiums with powerful, primal drumming that electrified the atmosphere and ignited the energy of the crowd.
Our performances set the tone for world-class rugby to unfold; the same energy and connection we now bring to energise and unite teams in our workshops.
Beats At Work delivers high-energy drumming workshops for corporate and sports teams - designed to unite people, boost performance, and ignite collective energy.
Inspired by the last 30 years of dance music - drum and bass, techno, and hip-hop - our sessions create a massive tribal sound that fires up focus, connection, and motivation.
Our interactive experiences are designed to:
• Strengthen teamwork, trust, and collaboration
• Boost energy, morale, and focus
• Enhance communication and listening skills
• Improve coordination, timing, and synergy
• Spark creativity and fresh thinking
At the heart of every session lies the primal power of rhythm - used for millennia to energise, celebrate, and unite people.
Drumming breaks down barriers, awakens intensity, and creates a shared experience that leaves teams feeling motivated, connected, and inspired to think differently.
Whether it’s corporate teams building stronger collaboration or sports teams chasing peak performance, Beats At Work helps groups bond, push boundaries, and channel their energy into shared success.
We deliver fun, high-impact experiences that enhance communication, trust, creativity, and cohesion - the key ingredients of a thriving team culture.
Because when a team connects off the field, they perform better on it.
We can accommodate teams of any size and operate across the UK and internationally.

Beats At Work is the creation of Aid Todd and Sophie Banyard, two passionate performers who bring rhythm, energy, and transformation to every session.
Aid is the creative director of Drum Machine and a professional drummer with 40 years of experience.
As the drummer for 90s band EMF, he has spent decades driving powerful, high-energy rhythms that bring people together.
Sophie is a former professional performer who has shared the stage with legends like Motörhead and Alice Cooper.
Now, as well as being a drummer and teacher of percussion in her own right, she is also a personal trainer and mindset coach; she helps people harness the transformative power of exercise to elevate their lives.
Together, we fuse music, energy, and performance to create high-impact drumming experiences that unites teams, unlock creativity, and inspire peak performance.
Whether in the boardroom or on the playing field, we believe rhythm has the power to connect, energize, and transform.
Let’s make some noise!
“Drumming makes your brain more efficient” - Medical News Today
“I have experienced drum workshops with Aid and Sophie on a number of occasions. Their teaching expertise is second to none. Their vast experience and strong, yet fun teaching style quickly connects the group, building safety and engagement.
The group always leave the workshop with deeper connections to each other, more respect for each others roles, and a great sense of uplifted energy and commitment to the future of the team. I would strongly recommend these workshops to any CEO or manager wanting to build team connection and unity in an embodied physical way”
Craig White - Performance consultant, Sale Sharks
“As Head Coach of the Wigan Warriors, I found the drumming workshop to be the perfect way to freshen things up and engage the team. Aid and Sophie delivered it brilliantly - it was great fun, but also got across exactly the right messages around teamwork, connection, individuality, and bringing the best of yourself to something bigger when everyone comes together.
I couldn’t praise the two of them enough. It was really well organised, they brought all the equipment, and even the most unmusical of us could join in and play a part. I’d definitely use Beats At Work again and would recommend them to anyone in sport - or any team - looking to take their performance and environment to the next level.”
